We base our workshops on the work of Michael Porter as well as on W. Chan Kim's at Harvard Business School. Porter's work focuses on competitive analysis whilst Kim's work is in creating uncontestable market spaces (Blue Ocean Strategy).

The workshops utilising the models developed at Harvard uses Scenario Analysis, Competitive Analysis and Games Theory to develop a plan. EMD's competitive advantage is to make these processes simple and accessible to all strata of the workforce.
